Guwahati, March 24: An important full meeting of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Guwahati Metropolitan District was held on Sunday, March 2, in the evening at the Panbazar headquarters. The meeting was attended by presidents and secretaries from 12 prakhandas, along with other officials from the metropolitan district.

The meeting was presided over by President Sabin Rajkhowa, while Secretary Ratul Deka explained the purpose and outlined plans to strengthen the organization. Chandan Rabha, Minister of VHP Guwahati Division, presented the six-month action plan for the organization.

According to Mukuteshwar Goswami, the Publicity Secretary of VHP Guwahati Metropolitan District, the Ram Mahotsav will be celebrated across the entire northeastern region from March 30 to April 6. The objective of this celebration is to counter any misinformation about Lord Ramchandra in society and inspire people—from children to the elderly—to follow his ideals. The event will also include intellectual discourses to explain the significance of Ram Mahotsav and promote the vision of Ram Rajya in an undivided Bharat.

Additionally, a new leadership has been appointed for the long-inactive North Guwahati Amingaon Prakhanda . Dilip Bora has been named President, and Navjit Tamuli has been appointed as Secretary, forming a strong new committee.
