◊In the face of internal strife in Manipur, Assam Rifles showcased
their unwavering dedication to community service by distributing
Foldable Microscopes (Foldoscopes) and hosting an educational
workshop in Chiru Village, Kangchup district, Manipur, on February 6,
2024. The distribution of Foldoscopes was initiated following a request
from the local school, which lacked access to crucial educational
resources.
A medical team comprising Assam Rifles personnel and local
healthcare professionals provided essential medicines to the residents of
Chiru Village. Subsequently, the team distributed 60 Foldoscopes to
Chiru Public School and conducted a comprehensive workshop and
training camp, offering hands-on guidance to both teachers and
students.
The expressions of gratitude and happiness from teachers and
students upon receiving the microscopes underscore the significant
enhancement these tools will bring to their learning experiences and
scientific explorations.
